How Do Volunteers Pass FAIRtax?

Social Media’s Potential Impact

On February 5 the volunteer team editing Facebook posted this simple graphic:

Within 3 days it was in view in the Facebook newsfeed of over 3,000,000 accounts. By February 8  it had been reacted to, commented upon or shared over 190,000 times. While not all of that reaction was positive (1,360 feeds hid the post) the number of people who decided to follow the FAIRtax page jumped over 2,000 new Page Likes. That means more people were now having a chance to learn how FAIRtax is America’s Big Solution than had ever been the case on Facebook in the seven years a FAIRtax Facebook page existed. And the out of pocket cost was $0.

Today social media has grown to the point where the vast majority of people in the industrialized world have access to it. Whether it is Facebook, Twitter, Google+or LinkedIn, people are finding, sharing, liking, commenting and replying to every major issue that affects them or their families. Social media has triggered uprisings and underground movements. Social media will be a major part of a winning strategy used to pass H.R. 25 The FairTax Act of 2015 in this Presidential election year.

How can YOU help. If you have a Facebook account invite your friends to our page by following the instructions in the graphic below.

Another power of Facebook is that you can find and reach groups like Students For Liberty. You can find a group on Facebook for nearly every candidate and issue. Simply type a few key words in to the search bar, and when you click “Share” on a post, use the drop down menu to add an introduction and then select where you want it to go. Pick groups and start to type the name of the group where you want it shared. With your help America’s Big Solution-Pass FAIRtax will soon spread like wildfire.

Make your thoughts known by sharing posts with your circle of contacts. Encourage them to do the same. As you reach friends of friends of friends stimulate discussion and sharing by posting a comment or replying to comments of others. Remember to be polite and try to correct misinformation with facts. Try to always give your source.  In comments remember to use @FAIRtax to bring up the link to the FAIRtax page so it is easy for people to click over to our page. Encourage people to attend the FREE monthly webinar on FAIRtax the last Thursday of each month at 8:00pm Eastern Time and watch for the event announcements on our page.
