A majority of Americans say the tax system in the United States is unfair, according to a new national survey by Pew Research Center.
The center found 62 percent of the overall public said "they are bothered 'a lot' by the feeling that some corporations don't pay their fair share of taxes."
Nearly as many -- 60 percent -- felt the same way about the rich not paying enough in taxes.
According to Pew, the latest survey marks an increase in the number of Americans who think the system is rigged, attributable largely to a shift in opinion among Democrats.
