AT A CONGRESSIONAL DEBATE

The debate for the Congressional seat for the seventh Congressional District of New Jersey took place on September 24, 2018. There were about 200 in attendance at the Holiday Inn in Clark, New Jersey. Debate topics focused on economic issues.

I had a limited amount of time to work the tables before the debate began. I came with a supply of business cards. Here is the card:
You can have your own business cards printed at VistaPrint or another printer, but the design and content must be approved by Marketing Team Co-Chair, Randy Fischer, randy.fischer@fairtax.org. Randy turns requests around quickly.
Cards were given to supporters of both candidates. Members of the New Jersey Green Party were seated together at a table including their candidate for US Senate, Madelyn Hoffman, photo below.
I explained to the Greens that we are non-partisan and single issue, but that Greens should support us because we tax only new tangible goods (and services). We encourage re-use of tangible items because we do not tax used goods. The Greens listened.
Before leaving, I handed a card and a two-page piece to Mr. Malinowski and offered a briefing. Mr. Malinowski promised only to read the material. I have met previously with Mr. Lance to discuss the FAIRtax and plan to meet again with him another time if he is re-elected.
