WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED

So you’re planning to set up a FAIRtax stand and want to protect yourself from slip-and-fall claims, or you want to set up a FAIRtax stand, and the sponsor requires a certificate of insurance. What do you do? Insurance for a single event is hard to get.

Beginning April 1, 2019 we’ve got the answer. Americans for Fair Taxation has purchased event insurance to cover you. But it’s not automatic. You need to report the event in advance.

We will need the following information:

  1. Who is attending.
  2. Where the event will be.
  3. When the event will take place, and
  4. Describe the event briefly.

Please send the information in an e-mail to our insurance agent, Marie Taylor, at mtaylor@moodyinsurance.com, with a copy to me at jim.bennett@fairtax.org.

Our insurance covers up to sixty events. We had to accept this limitation in order to get the insurance at a premium we could afford. We do not think we will run out, but if we do, we will let you know.

I will be happy to send you coverage details on request.

And don’t forget to get your promotional materials for the event. Go to https://www.fairtaxlogostore.org/. The store is supported by our Florida Team at no profit - bringing you items at reasonable prices. One of my favorites for fairs are the rolls of Large Size stickers. Kids and teenagers like them and travel with them all over the fair.

Insurance is one of two main ways we can help folks out in the field. The other way is our database. If you want to start a group in your state or Congressional District, or community, and look for other FAIRtax supporters, we can give you a list of who has expressed interest in the past. We will ask you to sign a Protected Assets agreement so that you do not use the list for a political campaign - or to let your condo! Then we can then give you contact information for an entire state or for any congressional district or area you need. If you would like to send an e-mail to your group or state, let me know. I will then put you in touch with our team to craft and send the e-mail.

CALL FOR PICTURES AND WRITEUPS

We need MORE of you to send in pictures and news.  If you have anything to share, please send your material to me at jim.bennett@fairtax.org, or text me at (908) 578-4975, or fax me at (908) 598-2888. When others see your activity, they are inspired, and the process snowballs. When the process snowballs, Congress Members and Senators and, yes, even the President start to listen.
