In early November 2015, a group of volunteers on the AFFT Marketing and Communications Team received a gift. Scott Petersen, founder of Chase Marketing LLC, volunteered to create a FAIRtax marketing campaign for 2016. Scott had a thought after seeing a FAIRtax Facebook post with the theme that America has always been a country of big ideas. He decided it was time for a new look at how FAIRtax is presented and promoted. Scott is a veteran of several political campaigns and had worked with the concept of a “voter tree” solution for getting people with very little spare time available to get connected and do just a little to promote an issue or candidate.
