Meet Our New Director
Jade Walle

Your FAIRtax Board Of Delegates elected Jade Walle to The Board Of Directors of Americans For Fair Taxation on July 16, 2020.

Jade is a partner in the Assurance practice in the Denver office of a Big 4 public accounting firm.  He has 24 years of experience in financial statement audits of both domestic and non-U.S. public and private companies.

In 1996, Jade began his career with his firm in Tulsa OK, transferring to the firm's Global Capital Markets Group in London in 1999, where he assisted non-U.S. companies accessing the U.S. capital markets.  He then repatriated to the firm’s Houston office in 2002 and then served in the Tulsa office in 2008, serving SEC registrants in the energy sector.

In 2016, Jade relocated to the firm’s Denver office to serve SEC registrants in the Master Limited Partnership, exploration and production, and mining segments.

He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University with BS & MS degrees in Accounting. Jade is a CPA, certified in OK, TX, CO, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, Colorado Society of CPAs, and the Texas Society of CPAs.
Jade is involved in a variety of community activities including serving on the Oklahoma State University School of Accounting advisory board and the boards of directors for Junior Achievement Rocky Mountain, Inc. and Centerwill, Inc., an outreach organization focusing on orphans and displaced children and mothers in Kenya.

Jade also served on the Board of Directors of Junior Achievement of Tulsa, before relocating to Denver, and on the Board of Directors of I Have a Dream-Houston in 2007-2008.

Jade has been married to his Wife Kim for 21 years, has two daughters, Sophia, and Zoe, and a son Vitalik whom they adopted in 2014 from Ukraine. Jade’s personal interests include his faith in Christ, spending time on vacation with his family, tennis, and basketball.
Jade first heard of The FAIRtax in the 2008 Presidential election cycle.  He isn't a tax accountant, but as a CPA and someone who has always been interested in exploring the best and most effective ways to stimulate the American economy, the idea intrigued him.  He didn't join AFFT or pursue any deep involvement initially, but he began to discuss The FAIRtax with colleagues, family and friends.

Finally, in 2014, he was asked to present at a financial reporting conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma sponsored by Oklahoma State University, with over 500 in attendance.  The topic he chose for this presentation was The FAIRtax.  We all know to teach or present effectively, one must have a firm grasp on the subject matter.  To that end, he educated himself by reading The FAIRtax books by Neal Boortz and John Linder.

It was about this time Jade started talking about The FAIRtax at his annual 2-hour guest professional presentations at Oklahoma State's graduate accounting practicum course occurring every summer.  It was both surprising and gratifying to see young people, many of whom were looking at a career in the tax field, agree replacing the income tax with The FAIRtax is a good idea.

Then after speaking with family over the 2016 July 4th holiday and being curious for more information on the topic, Jade searched for FAIRtax podcasts online.  He discovered FAIRtax Power Radio, Ron Maiellaro and Bob Paxton's weekly show and consumed them all rapidly.  He reached out to Ron and Bob and visited them in Ocala, Florida in 2017.  Since then, Jade has continued to learn as much as he can about The FAIRtax and promote it any and every way possible.

We welcome Jade to The Board Of Directors and look forward to adding his motivation, talents, and expertise to passing The FAIRtax.

Yours In Liberty!
